Country Roads Animal Rescue is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals. Our goal is to provide humane education to the public, and sanctuary to animals in need. Our services include the trapping and transporting of feral cats to the vet for sterilization and proper vaccinations, housing animals for recovery, and the return to colony. We have no shelter facility, all animals are housed by volunteer foster homes.

We are currently partnering with the national group, Alley Cat Allies following their guidelines for TNR, (trap neuter release) of feral cats in the community. Through educational programs and speaking engagements, we aim to spread awareness of the problems facing our community’s animals. All rehabilitated, and socialized cats and kittens will be available for adoption after completion of veterinary care and foster evaluation.

Resources and information are available for Spay-Neuter assistance programs, we CANNOT pay veterinary expenses for personal pets.

If you witness animal abuse or neglect of any kind, YOU are responsible for contacting the proper authorities: state or local police, local animal protective officials (please check your local directory).

Calling us to report an incident of abuse will not result in action being taken. We have no authority to go on private property without permission, or to confront individuals.

Even with the difficult economic times that we are facing, abandoning your pet is NOT an option. If you are no longer able to care for your animal please call your local animal shelter, veterinarian, or rescue for information about rehoming your pet.
